The transport terminal, being a complex of facilities, is designed for temporal storage, handling and efficient operation of transshipment of cargos from one mode of transport engaged in cargo carriage onto another.   

Transport terminals differ by geographical location, maturity of infrastructure, types and quantity of lifting and transporting equipment, warehouse capacity, operating efficiency, cargo throughput / turn-over.

  • third party liability for loss of life, bodily injury, damage to ships and on-land transport;
  • liability for loss of or damage to cargo;
